Magnetic Sand is the traditional food for lodestones in the African American Hoodoo tradition. You sprinkle a pinch over your lodestone each time you work with it, while speaking aloud what you are drawing toward you. This feeds the stone, activates its drawing power, and maintains the energetic connection between your intention and the stone's magnetic nature.

A lodestone without regular feeding goes cold. This is not metaphor. Practitioners who work with lodestones consistently report that unfed stones stop working. Magnetic Sand is how you keep yours alive and active.
