Psalm 23 is the most beloved scripture in the African American church tradition and one of the most worked psalms in Hoodoo practice. It speaks to provision, to peace, to the restoration of what has been worn down, and to the promise that goodness and mercy are still at work in your life even when circumstances suggest otherwise. This candle is fixed with those intentions and burned in the home to establish an atmosphere of peace, provision, and divine favor.

Light it for the home. Light it when things have been too hard for too long and you need the table set before you. Light it as a statement of faith that your life is being tended even when you cannot see it.

How to Work It: Write your petition naming the peace or provision you are calling in. Place the candle in a central room of the home. Speak Psalm 23 before lighting. Burn consistently. Snuff between burnings.
